Georgina Read is an artist living and working in London, UK. Georgina produces pieces that have evolved through the discipline of drawing and mark making, with a strong sense of colour, line and shape. Whether expressed with a muted palette or bold strong colour, the work continues to explore and respond.

A graduate of Ravensbourne College of Art and Design, with over 30 years experience in film and television production, at the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky, including feature films and commercials in both the UK and USA; a career culminating in the role of Creative Director for National Geographic Channels Worldwide.

Further study followed, with a Foundation and Degree course in Fine Art at City and Guilds of London Art School , and an MA at the Art Academy. Portrait work was exhibited at the Mall Galleries and the Princes Drawing School.

As studio based exploration and development continues, it is that work which is published on my website today.
